Baby Dress Template For Card

The baby dress template that I got from your store on Etsy is awesome and so easy to use. Can you please help me? The second picture, after the template picture, top left, there is a white little dress card. What is it made of? How do I make that top layer? Sorry for asking here but I thought you might see this quicker.

Hi Gizelle,

The white little dress is made from vellum (the thicker type for card making), you can get it from any craft store or Amazon, I will place a link for you below.

Very simple to make, you can basically just print the template onto the vellum (using the pdf version). Cut out. If you have a cutting machine, Cricut or Silhouette, you can use the SVG version for this.

You will notice the one part is left plain, the larger part (other half) of the dress is embossed with an embossing machine, this is what gives the textured dotted effect to the bottom layer. If you look closely you will also see the edges of the top layer looks like it is sewn, you get this effect by just running a scoring tool or any hard object along the inside edge, so that it so to speak, bulge out.
